Job Description
Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Carpenter to join our construction team. In this role, you will bring your expertise in residential carpentry, remodeling, and restoration to deliver top-quality craftsmanship on a variety of projects. Your keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and ability to interpret construction plans will ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans to execute precise carpentry work. Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood and other construction materials using hand tools, power tools for woodworking, and woodworking machines. Perform residential carpentry tasks such as door hanging, trim installation, framing, tile laying, and fixture installation. Conduct restoration projects including water damage remediation, mold remediation, plastering, stucco application, and rebar installation. Safely operate power tools and hand tools while adhering to all power tool safety protocols. Assist with heavy lifting and material handling on construction sites to ensure efficient workflow. Collaborate with team members and project managers to ensure work aligns with construction plans and specifications. Requirements Proven experience in construction blueprint reading, framing, trim carpentry, and residential remodeling. Strong knowledge of wood construction materials and their appropriate use in various projects. Hands-on experience with woodworking tools such as saws, drills, sanders, and other woodworking machinery. Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings and construction plans accurately. Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on active job sites. Prior experience in the restoration industry and damage restoration is a plus. Knowledge of power tool safety standards and best practices for handling power tools for woodworking. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced construction environments. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of carpentry work.
