Job Description

Job Summary We are looking for someone that can work on their own, takes pride in their work and stays focused to finish their task. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Carpenter/Handyman to join our dynamic team. In this versatile role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of carpentry, repair, and maintenance tasks across residential and commercial projects. Your expertise will help ensure that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your construction knowledge and handyman skills in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the improvement and restoration of properties. Duties Utilize hand tools and power tools for flooring, framing, trim carpentry, drywall installation, tile laying, fixture installation and many other small tasks. Perform residential carpentry tasks such as door hanging, window installation, cabinetry work and landscaping with precision. Conduct repairs including plastering, caulking, trim installation, flooring, painting, landscaping rebar installation, water damage restoration, and mold remediation. Assist with remodeling projects by assembling structures, installing fixtures, and handling heavy lifting as needed. Follow safety protocols for power tool operation and construction site procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Support restoration industry projects by performing tasks like drywall repair, water damage mitigation, and reinstallation of wood construction materials. Requirements Proven experience in construction or handyman roles with a strong background in carpentry and maintenance is preferred Ability to read a tape measure Proficiency with hand tools, power tools for woodworking, woodworking machines, and other construction equipment. Knowledge of construction estimating processes and material specifications related to wood construction materials. Experience working on residential or commercial sites with a focus on safety standards such as power tool safety. Skilled in interpreting technical drawings and following detailed instructions for various projects. Capable of heavy lifting and performing physically demanding tasks throughout the workday. Additional experience in plastering, stucco application, rebar installation, drywall finishing, tile laying or fixture installation is highly desirable. •20 dollars an hour depending skill, knowledge, work ethic and motivation. Everyone is encouraged to apply
