Qualifications & Desired Background:
Current Wisconsin Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license or eligibility; SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY accepted SLPA candidates require appropriate state licensure and school-based experience preferred Knowledge of evidence-based practices for school-age populations (PreK-12) Ability to design and implement IEPs and deliver direct and consultative speech/language services Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, staff, and families Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team
Key Responsibilities:
Provide assessment, diagnosis, and therapy for students with communication disorders in diverse settings Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals Maintain comprehensive and timely documentation Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and collaborative interventions Support positive, inclusive learning environments that foster student progress
