This is a direct hire position with 1st shift hours 7:30-4:00pm Monday - Friday . This position will pay $28-$38+/hour depending on relevant experience and will include a full benefits package of health/dental/vision insurance, PTO, and a 401k match. Job Overview The Carpenter is responsible for performing skilled carpentry work in the repair, restoration, and preservation of commercial and residential properties damaged by water, fire, vehicle impact, and other building disasters. This role requires consistent use of high-level carpentry techniques, adherence to safety standards, effective time management, and the ability to handle emergency on-call duties with professionalism and efficiency. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to delivering high-quality results.

Responsibilities Breakdown:

Perform carpentry tasks (rough in & finish), including but not limited to demolition framing, drywall, flooring, cabinetry, millwork installation, and exterior finishes. Identify and use appropriate tools, equipment, and materials for various carpenter tasks. Apply carpentry techniques to address structural damage. Execute repairs according to engineering and design specifications. Ensure all work adheres to a high level of craftsmanship and meets company quality standards. Complete restoration tasks within established timeframes, managing priorities effectively to meet deadlines. Provide clear and timely updates to relevant supervisors and production members about project progress, challenges, and solutions. Document work performed, including photos, notes, and material usage. Participate in company-provided training sessions - Capitalize on learning opportunities to improve carpentry and restoration skills. Stay informed about advancements in restoration technologies and tools. Maintain a neat and professional appearance while wearing company provided uniforms, footwear, and identification. Keep vehicles clean, tidy, and orderly. Contribute to a clean, organized, and safe job site. Adhere to Company safety standards and use personal protective equipment (PPE) when required. Conduct regular maintenance and inspections of tools and equipment to confirm safe operation. Proactively identify and mitigate potential safety hazards on the jobsite. Report and document damage of client and company property in a timely manner. On-Call Duty Performance Attend scheduled on-call team meetings. Maintain availability and communication with team leaders. Respond promptly to emergency calls when directed. Participate in mitigation activities including but not limited to water and fire mitigation, demolition, and cleanup.

Physical Demands:

Ability to stand, squat, climb, bend, kneel, stoop, walk, push, pull, crouch and crawl for long periods of time. Ability to ascend/descend ladders, stairs, scaffoldings, and the like, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects, from 50-100 lbs., necessary to perform job functions Ability to work in high and/or tight places.

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in carpentry including rough in carpentry (framing walls, floors, ceilings, and roof trusses) as well as finish carpentry (installing baseboards, crown molding, doors, window casings, and cabinetry.)

Valid Driver's License Technology/Equipment:

Carpenters are required to bring the following tools with them: Smart Cellular Telephone with Data Plan, Hand Tools, and Power Tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

OSHA 10 or 30 First Aid and CPR Certification Blueprint reading
