Duties Safely load and unload furniture, appliances, boxes, and other items using proper manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or dollies Operate various vehicles including box trucks, vans, or personal vehicles for local or regional deliveries in compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries or relocations while adhering to traffic regulations Assist customers with moving items, providing excellent customer service through clear communication and professional conduct Use mobile devices to document deliveries, update logs, or communicate with team members during routes Load and unload trucks efficiently using safe lifting practices to prevent injuries and ensure weight handling safety in the workplace Maintain cleanliness and safety of moving equipment and vehicles, reporting any maintenance issues promptly Skills Proven warehouse experience with knowledge of warehouse operations and material handling equipment operation Commercial driving experience with a valid driver's license suitable for operating box trucks or commercial trucks; familiarity with manual transmission is a plus Delivery driver experience, especially in moving or courier services involving route driving and load & unload tasks Strong understanding of safe lifting practices, heavy lifting techniques, and weight handling in the workplace to prevent injuries Ability to adhere strictly to DOT regulations, traffic laws, and safety protocols during all driving activities Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients during pickups and deliveries Experience operating mobile devices for route navigation, documentation, or communication purposes Join us if you're motivated by physical activity, enjoy helping people move forward in their lives, and are committed to safe driving practices.
