We are looking for an Individual that has at minimum Class B CDL. Need someone that can self motivate and do multiple functions - Drive Trucks to job sites, load equipment, move dirt in yard, unload material, etc.... Need to have a clean driving record and be able to pass a pre employment Drug Screen. Thank you Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled CDL Operator - Transportation Equipment Operator specializing in Concrete Mixing Trucks to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating heavy-duty commercial trucks equipped with concrete mixers, ensuring the timely delivery of concrete and paving materials to construction sites. Your expertise in construction machinery maintenance, concrete handling, and adherence to safety regulations will be vital in supporting civil infrastructure projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, contributing directly to infrastructure development and urban improvement initiatives. Duties Safely operate commercial trucks with concrete mixing equipment, adhering strictly to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safety protocols. Transport and deliver concrete, bituminous materials, and other paving supplies to various construction sites efficiently and on schedule. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of the concrete mixer trucks and associated paving equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Assist with the setup and operation of paving equipment such as screeds, loaders, rebar installation tools, and concrete pumps during paving projects. Support the preparation of construction sites by performing tasks like concrete forming, rebar placement, and working alongside heavy equipment operators such as loaders and paving machinery. Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, vehicle inspections, maintenance activities, and compliance with DOT regulations. Follow all safety regulations diligently, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), safe driving practices, and site-specific safety protocols. Experience Proven experience operating commercial vehicles, specifically concrete mixing trucks or similar heavy construction machinery. Strong mechanical knowledge related to construction machinery maintenance and troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with asphalt paving, concrete pouring, pumping operations, and screed usage on civil infrastructure projects. Familiarity with construction site procedures including rebar installation, concrete forming, and working around paving equipment. Knowledge of safety regulations governing heavy equipment operation and transportation within the construction industry. Ability to perform basic math calculations related to measurements, quantities, and load capacities accurately. Prior work experience on civil infrastructure projects involving heavy equipment operation in a fast-paced environment is highly preferred.
