JOURNEYMAN REQUIREMENTS DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT MEET THE FOLLOWING
Proven Skillset:
At least three (3) to five (5) years of verifiable, hands-on experience in high-end concrete polishing.
Technical Mastery:
Current and relevant working knowledge of CPS machines, tear-out machines, burnishing, and polishing is required.
Independence:
Must be able to complete a floor from start to finish with minimal supervision.
Location:
Only Southern California applicants will be considered.
Mobility:
Willingness to travel (Western US), overnight stays, and weekends are expected. What You'll Do As a Journeyman on our specialized field team, you will be responsible for:
High-End Finishing:
Executing diamond grinding, honing, and polishing using CPS planetary equipment to meet Maverick's elite standards.
Technical Applications:
Applying industrial-grade epoxy, elastomeric coatings, and installing critical caulking/joint systems.
Waterproofing/Caulking:
Installing liquid applied waterpoofing membrane and sealants
Site Leadership:
Leading smaller segments of a project and assisting the Foreman in training newer crew members.
Quality & Safety:
Maintaining a clean, professional job site and ensuring 100% PPE compliance for yourself and your teammates. Expectations A Maverick Journeyman is hardworking, reliable, and takes pride in the "Maverick Name." You must:
