Our work includes epoxy floors, concrete overlays, grinding, polishing, sealers, and self-leveling systems. This is a working foreman position. You'll work alongside the crew, assign daily tasks, train employees, and take responsibility for job-site safety, workmanship, and keeping projects on schedule. Most projects are in North County San Diego, with occasional work throughout the greater San Diego area. Pay, Benefits & Schedule Starting pay of $37 per hour + OT (OT after 8 hours) Weekly payroll as a W-2 employee Full-time position, typically 30-50 hours per week, with overtime pay Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off 401(k) Bonuses and profit sharing Monday-Friday schedule, with weekends as needed 8- and 10-hour shifts, depending on the project What You'll Do Lead the crew from setup through cleanup while performing the work alongside them. Plan the day's work, assign tasks, and make sure the crew has the tools, equipment, and materials needed. Perform and oversee surface preparation, grinding, demolition, polishing, and installation of coatings, overlays, sealers, and self-leveling systems. Follow project specifications and product installation requirements. Check preparation and finished work, identify problems early, and correct them before moving to the next step. Train crew members on proper techniques, equipment use, and safe work practices. Enforce required PPE, including respiratory, eye, and hearing protection. Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe. Coordinate material needs and communicate progress or job-site issues with management, customers, and other contractors. Troubleshoot field conditions and keep the work moving without sacrificing quality. What We're Looking For 4+ years experience in concrete coatings or resurfacing, including epoxy systems, overlays, grinding, polishing, or self-leveling. Previous experience supervising a crew or serving as a construction foreman. Ability to organize daily work, give clear direction, and hold the crew accountable for quality and productivity. Ability to read and follow project specifications, technical instructions, and blueprints as needed. Good judgment when handling job-site problems. Reliable attendance, dependable transportation, and clear communication with the crew and customers.
