ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee structural concrete projects in the Los Angeles area. This role requires strong coordination between field and office teams, attention to detail, and the ability to manage projects efficiently while maintaining schedules, quality, and client expectations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing structural concrete scopes and be comfortable coordinating multiple project activities from planning through completion.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage structural concrete project scopes from start to completion. Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders. Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation. Track project schedules and proactively identify and address potential delays. Monitor and protect the project's critical path. Coordinate rebar, formwork, inspections, and other structural concrete activities. Review project plans, drawings, specifications, and related documentation. Work closely with field teams to ensure work is completed according to project requirements. Monitor project progress, quality, and productivity. Assist with resolving field and project-related issues. Maintain accurate project records and documentation. Support effective communication between the office and field. Perform periodic site visits to support active projects. Ensure compliance with project requirements, safety standards, and company procedures.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 2+ years of experience managing structural concrete scopes. Strong experience with change orders, RFIs, and submittals. Experience tracking project schedules and managing the critical path. Strong understanding of structural concrete construction. Experience coordinating rebar, formwork, inspections, and field operations. Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to coordinate effectively with field and office teams. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned projects. Willingness to make periodic site visits in the Los Angeles area.
