ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Project Engineer to support structural concrete projects in the Los Angeles area. This role will work closely with project management and field teams to ensure projects are properly coordinated, documented, and executed. The ideal candidate will have experience with structural concrete construction and a strong understanding of construction drawings, takeoffs, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the management and coordination of structural concrete projects. Review construction drawings, plans, specifications, and project documents. Perform and assist with quantity takeoffs for structural concrete work. Prepare, process, and track RFIs and submittals. Assist with preparing and processing change orders. Maintain accurate project documentation and records. Coordinate with project managers, field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and other project stakeholders. Track project requirements and follow up on outstanding items. Assist with project scheduling and coordination. Support field teams with project documentation and technical information. Help identify and resolve project-related issues. Maintain organized document control throughout the project lifecycle. Participate in periodic site visits to support active projects. Perform other project-related duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS 1 4
years of structural concrete experience preferred. Experience in construction project engineering or a related field. Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications. Experience with quantity takeoffs. Experience processing RFIs and submittals. Exposure to change orders and project documentation. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent attention to detail. Strong communication and coordination skills. Proactive approach to problem-solving. Ability to work effectively with both field and office teams. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment. Willingness to make periodic site visits in the Los Angeles area.

The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and detail-oriented, with a solid foundation in structural concrete construction. They should be comfortable working with drawings, takeoffs, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation while supporting project managers and field teams.
