Duties Prepare and set up formwork for concrete pouring, ensuring accuracy according to blueprints and specifications Operate concrete mixers, pumps, power tools, and other heavy equipment safely and effectively Mix, pour, and finish concrete surfaces with precision using hand tools and finishing techniques Install rebar and metal stud framing to reinforce concrete structures in compliance with safety regulations Interpret construction plans and technical drawings to execute tasks accurately and efficiently Conduct concrete cutting, surface finishing, caulking, plastering, stucco application, and tile laying as required Maintain safety protocols on-site by adhering to construction workplace safety regulations and using proper personal protective equipment (PPE) Skills Strong mechanical knowledge related to construction tools and equipment operation Proven experience in construction estimating and interpreting blueprint specifications Expertise in concrete forming, pouring, finishing, cutting, and pumping techniques Knowledge of rebar installation, metal stud framing, and heavy lifting procedures Ability to read technical drawings and construction plans accurately Familiarity with safety standards for construction workplaces and the use of hand tools and power tools Experience working on diverse construction projects involving hardscape elements such as sidewalks or patios Skilled in plastering, stucco application, caulking, tile laying, and other related finishing tasks Capable of working efficiently on construction sites while maintaining high safety standards This position is an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals with a background in construction who are eager to develop their skills further while contributing to impactful projects.
