In this vital role, you will operate and maintain concrete pumping equipment to ensure the efficient delivery of concrete on various civil infrastructure projects. Your expertise will help facilitate smooth paving operations, concrete placement, and site development, contributing to the successful completion of large-scale construction initiatives. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with heavy machinery and cutting-edge paving technology in a fast-paced environment committed to safety and quality. Duties Operate concrete pump trucks and associated equipment safely and efficiently on construction sites. Conduct routine maintenance checks on concrete pumping machinery, including mechanical inspections and troubleshooting mechanical issues. Ensure adherence to safety regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) standards, and site-specific safety protocols during all operations Monitor concrete mix consistency, volume, and flow rate to optimize pumping performance and prevent blockages or spills. Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage, maintenance activities, and safety inspections for compliance purposes. Requirements Proven experience operating heavy construction machinery, specifically concrete pumps and paving equipment. Strong mechanical knowledge related to construction machinery maintenance and troubleshooting. Familiarity with construction site safety regulations, including DOT regulations for commercial vehicles. Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements, volume estimations, and material quantities. Working knowledge of concrete mixing processes, rebar installation, asphalt paving techniques, and screed operation. Valid commercial truck driving license with experience operating a DOT-compliant vehicle is preferred. Demonstrated ability to work effectively on civil infrastructure projects involving heavy equipment operation and construction site coordination. Commitment to safety protocol adherence at all times during equipment operation and site activities. Clean driving record/ No DUI's/ class C drivers license Experience with P-Gravel, large rock Must be able to safely lift up to 100 lbs Must be available to work Saturdays as need
