Concrete Laborer Job Description Join our team as a Concrete Laborer, where you'll play a crucial role in the preparation, pouring, finishing, and maintenance of concrete structures. This position requires hands-on work at a construction site, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standard. Responsibilities Prepare the site by clearing land, digging, setting wood or metal forms, and installing rebar or wire mesh. Mix cement elements and guide the flow from trucks or pumps, using shovels or rakes to ensure even layers. Finish and cure surfaces by smoothing them with trowels or floats, removing excess material, and applying sealants. Maintain the work site by cleaning tools, clearing debris, and ensuring safe working conditions. Essential Skills Experience in concrete work, general labor, and construction. Familiarity with using hand tools and working with rebar. At least 1 year of experience in construction general labor. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with concrete forms and landscaping is advantageous. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hagerstown, MD. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
