We are seeking skilled and motivated Concrete Finishers to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying finishing touches to concrete surfaces, ensuring they meet high standards of quality, safety, and durability. Your expertise will help bring construction projects to life, from commercial buildings to residential developments. Duties Perform concrete finishing tasks including smoothing, shaping, and texturing freshly poured concrete surfaces using hand tools and power tools. Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to accurately execute concrete forms, rebar installation, and layout specifications. Operate heavy equipment such as concrete mixers, pumps, and cutting tools to facilitate efficient pouring and finishing processes. Construct formwork and framework for concrete pouring, ensuring structural integrity and adherence to project plans. Install rebar and metal studs as reinforcement within concrete structures, following safety protocols and technical specifications. Conduct surface preparation activities such as caulking, plastering, stucco application, and tile laying for renovation or restoration projects. Maintain strict compliance with construction workplace safety regulations while handling heavy lifting, working at heights, or operating machinery. Experience Proven experience working on construction projects with a focus on concrete finishing and related trades such as carpentry, masonry, or roofing. Strong mechanical knowledge of tools, power equipment, schematics, and technical drawings relevant to concrete work. Familiarity with construction estimating processes and interpreting blueprint specifications accurately. Hands-on experience with formwork construction, concrete pouring techniques, cutting, and finishing methods. Knowledge of heavy equipment operation including concrete pumps and mixers; commercial driving skills are a plus. Background in working safely on construction sites with adherence to OSHA or equivalent safety standards.
