Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Concrete Form Setter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and installing formwork for concrete structures, ensuring precision and safety throughout the process. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of various construction projects, from residential renovations to large-scale commercial developments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects while honing your skills in concrete forming and related trades. Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately set up formwork according to specifications Construct, assemble, and install formwork using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment, ensuring stability and alignment Install rebar reinforcement within forms as per blueprint specifications to strengthen concrete structures Prepare the site by performing heavy lifting tasks, concrete cutting, and layout marking for form placement Pour, level, and finish concrete within the formwork, adhering to safety protocols and quality standards Operate concrete mixers, pumps, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently during pouring operations Maintain a clean work environment by properly handling materials, tools, and debris in accordance with construction workplace safety regulations Skills Strong mechanical knowledge related to construction tools, equipment, and materials Proven experience with concrete forming, rebar installation, and blueprint reading Ability to interpret technical drawings and construction plans accurately Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery common on construction sites Knowledge of construction estimating processes and project planning fundamentals Familiarity with safety regulations specific to construction workplaces including OSHA standards Join our team if you're passionate about building durable structures with precision!
