Job Description
Concrete Foreman The Concrete Foreman are responsible for positive team morale, timely production, quality products, overseeing and contributing to all aspects of daily work required for the placement of concrete for commercial, agricultural and residential concrete work. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve as a leader.
- Positively lead crews of 5 or more in a timely and efficient manner.
- Show strong ability to effectively read and understand drawings.
- Ability to schedule crews, equipment and materials prior to project start and during project.
- Ability to assign tasks to crew members to ensure schedule and quality is met.
- Work alongside a crew pouring concrete in commercial, agricultural and residential settings.
- Document labor, equipment hours and daily production rates and material.
- Operating various construction and concrete tools and material handling.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Experience in Trimble and Leica total station - preferred but not required Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Lead Finisher in the commercial concrete trades for both floors and walls.
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Ability to life, carry and pull 50 pounds or more of material
- Pre-hire drug screen
- Ability to remain flexible as specific assignments change.
- Dedicated and reliable work ethic.
- Excellent communication skills.
