Summary:
We're looking for hands-on Concrete Finishers to assist with all phases of concrete work, from site preparation to finishing. If you take pride in quality work, enjoy working in a team, and want to grow in a fast-paced construction environment, this is the role for you.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with preparation, placement, finishing, and curing of concrete for foundations, slabs, sidewalks, curbs, walls, and more. Set, align, and secure concrete forms and assist with layout according to project plans. Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and equipment used in concrete work. Prepare job sites, including grading, compacting, and installing reinforcement materials. Support skilled workers with forming, reinforcing, finishing, or demolition tasks. Signal or guide equipment operators when positioning concrete trucks, pumps, or machinery. Keep the job site safe, clean, and organized throughout the day. Follow all safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous construction or concrete experience preferred. Knowledge of basic concrete construction practices and jobsite procedures. Ability to read and interpret drawings, plans, and specifications. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Team player who can adapt to changing jobsite needs. Basic understanding of safety regulations and construction safety procedures. Must pass background check and drug screening.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry up to 80 lbs and push/pull up to 50 lbs. Ability to work in all weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks for up to 8 hours/day. Ability to climb, bend, stoop, kneel, squat, and work from heights or in confined spaces. Must be able to operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely. Flexibility to work extended hours, evenings, or weekends when needed.
