Unite Contracting is seeking skilled Concrete Finishers. As a Concrete Finisher, you will apply finishes to freshly poured concrete surfaces. These jobs are in LaPlace. This physically demanding role requires heavy lifting and the use of power tools. Responsibilities :

• Must have formwork concrete experience.
• Prepare concrete surfaces for finishing by cleaning, leveling, and smoothing
• Use power tools such as concrete mixers, trowels, and edgers to apply finishes
• Apply various techniques to achieve desired textures and patterns on concrete surfaces
• Repair damaged concrete surfaces by patching or resurfacing
• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate placement of concrete
• Collaborate with the team to complete projects within specified timelines
• Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment

Qualifications :

• Must have some concrete experience.
• Previous experience as a Concrete Finisher or in a related field preferred
• Strong knowledge of concrete finishing techniques and materials
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints for accurate placement of concrete
• Proficient in using power tools such as concrete mixers, trowels, and edgers
• Physical stamina and ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labor
• Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality finishes
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
