Job Description
Gladiator Concrete LLC is seeking an experienced, hands-on Structural Concrete Foreman . You will independently read construction drawings, perform layout from plans, and lead field crews through structural operations. This is a field-first leadership position for someone who can plan the work, direct employees, and deliver accurate, high-quality concrete safely.
Key Responsibilities Blueprint & Layout:
Read structural, architectural, and civil drawings. Perform layout using lasers, transits, levels, and tape measures from established control points.Crew Leadership:
Direct and supervise carpenters, laborers, equipment operators, and finishers. Plan daily work activities, manpower, and materials.Structural Oversight:
Lead work on footings, foundations, grade beams, concrete walls, piers, columns, and slabs.Quality & Coordination:
Verify dimensions, formwork, rebar, and embeds before each pour. Coordinate concrete deliveries, pump placement, and finishing operations.Safety & Documentation:
Conduct weekly toolbox talks, enforce OSHA safety standards, track employee hours, and document field progress.Required Qualifications Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of structural concrete construction experience.Leadership:
Proven background as a concrete foreman, assistant foreman, or lead carpenter.Technical Skills:
Ability to independently perform layout directly from blueprints. Strong knowledge of formwork, reinforcing steel, embeds, and anchor bolts.Logistics:
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. What We Are Looking For The ideal candidate is a working foreman who takes ownership of the jobsite. You can take a complete set of plans, establish layout, organize the crew, and carry the structural concrete scope from initial excavation through final placement.Pay:
$25.00 - $38.00 per hourBenefits:
