JOB DECRIPTION
Experienced Concrete Mixer Driver Reliable Contracting Company, Inc. , a large construction company in Maryland, headed to 100 years in business, has a position available for a CDL Class B Experienced Concrete Mixer Truck Driver based out of our Gambrills, MD location. This position is responsible for delivering concrete to our many construction job sites throughout central Maryland. This is a permanent, full-time, day shift position. Some nights and weekends may be necessary during our busy season.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
for Experienced Concrete Mixer Truck Driver The Experienced Concrete Mixer Driver Delivery Professional delivers quality ready-mix concrete in a timely and professional manner, while ensuring the safe and technically proficient operation of the vehicle.
Essential Functions:
1. Deliver ready-mix concrete in a concrete mixer to a job site in a safe and timely manner. This involves loading the truck by pulling in or backing under the concrete plant, charging the drum, filling the water tank, obtaining the proper ticket and directions, adding required admixtures, and obtaining any other required supplemental products such as calcium and fiber mesh. 2. Follow Reliable procedures and recognize problems that should be fixed at the plant prior to driving to the job site. 3. Perform all pre and post-trip inspections and complete daily inspection reports. 4. Always get out and inspect job site before entering. Safely maneuver truck and pour concrete at Reliable job site. Contact Concrete Superintendent when problems arise to resolve. 5. Mix the concrete to the required slump and consistency while onsite and properly add any admixtures, water, etc. as required. 6. Identify problems with concrete quality, and job use, etc. Contact Jobsite foreman/Superintendent when problems arise to resolve. 7. Wash out chutes only in an environmentally approved area designated by customer. If no such site is available, wash out into a bucket and discharge at the plant. 8. Clean all equipment at the end of the day including the drum, cab, windows, rotors, and axles; wash the outside of the hopper and chute every load; and wash inside the drum when necessary. 9. Follow all environmental regulations and clean up any excess material that could cause environmental problems. 10. Operate vehicles and equipment in a safe manner. Follow proper procedures and complete required documentation if an accident or injury occurs. Notify Manager, Customer Service/Dispatch or Safety Department as required. 11. Able to enter and exit the truck safely 12. Able to lift 50lb's adding shuts 13. Keep a professional attitude at all times and be able to communicate with crew members in a clear and precise manner. This location serves Central Maryland, in and around the Baltimore/D.C. metro areas. The applicant must be willing to commute when necessary. The ability to read a map and knowledge of Maryland's roadways are highly desirable. The ability to use a modern in-cab dispatch system and GPS is a plus. This is a full-time, day position, with some evening & weekend work. Weekly Hours can vary with weather conditions. Applicants must be dependable and available to work as needed. Reliable attendance . Must have a positive attitude and willingness to work in a team environment. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Must have own transportation to work as job sites are not accessible by public transportation. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Reliable Contracting is a drug-free company .
