Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Concrete Finisher to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing precise concrete finishing tasks on a variety of construction projects, ensuring high-quality results that meet safety standards and project specifications. Your expertise will help bring architectural visions to life through expert craftsmanship and attention to detail. Responsibilities Finish concrete surfaces with expert techniques, including smoothing, troweling, and texturing to achieve specified finishes. Operate and maintain concrete mixers, pumps, power tools, and hand tools efficiently and safely. Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of concrete forms, rebar placement, and formwork construction. Install rebar and metal studs accurately according to blueprint specifications for structural integrity. Prepare work sites by setting up formwork, ensuring proper alignment and stability before pouring concrete. Pour, spread, level, and smooth concrete in accordance with project requirements while managing heavy lifting tasks safely. Follow all construction workplace safety regulations diligently to maintain a secure environment for yourself and colleagues. Qualifications Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher or in a similar construction role with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Mechanical knowledge related to concrete mixers, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and concrete cutting tools. Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and construction plans accurately. Skilled in concrete forming, pouring, finishing techniques including plastering, stucco application, drywall installation, caulking, trim carpentry, roofing, flooring installation, masonry, restoration work, and heavy equipment operation. Knowledge of construction estimating processes and safety protocol adherence is highly desirable. Strong understanding of construction workplace safety regulations and best practices for working on active sites. Excellent hand tool proficiency combined with physical strength for heavy lifting tasks required during formwork setup or material handling. Experience working on diverse construction projects such as renovations or new builds across commercial or residential sectors is preferred.
