Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Concrete Finisher Laborer and play a vital role in transforming blueprints into solid, durable structures! You will work on diverse construction projects, from residential renovations to large-scale commercial developments, ensuring that every pour and finish meets the highest standards of quality and safety. Duties Assist with the setup and dismantling of formwork and concrete molds according to detailed blueprints and specifications Operate hand tools, power tools, concrete mixers, and concrete pumps safely and efficiently to facilitate pouring and finishing processes Spread, level, smooth, and finish freshly poured concrete surfaces using trowels, floats, and other finishing tools Install rebar reinforcement as specified in construction plans to ensure structural integrity Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to accurately execute concrete forms, curbing, sidewalks, or decorative hardscape features Follow all safety protocols related to heavy lifting, working at heights (roofing), and handling hazardous materials such as caulking or stucco Perform concrete cutting, grinding, sealing, and sealing tasks like caulking or stucco application as needed for restoration or renovation projects Collaborate with carpenters, masons, and other tradespeople to ensure seamless project progression while adhering to construction workplace safety regulations Skills Strong mechanical knowledge of tools such as hand tools, power tools, concrete mixers, and cutting equipment Proven experience working on construction projects involving concrete pouring, finishing, formwork construction, and rebar installation Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans accurately Knowledge of construction estimating processes related to material needs for concrete work and hardscape features Familiarity with safety regulations specific to construction sites including heavy lifting techniques and fall protection measures Skilled in masonry techniques including tile laying, flooring installation, plastering, stucco application, metal stud framing, roofing prep or repair Experience with concrete pumping operations for large-scale pours or difficult-to-reach areas Capable of performing physical tasks such as heavy lifting while maintaining safety standards at all times Embark on a career where your craftsmanship makes a lasting impact!
