Looking for construction work without working outside year-round? Playit Creations, a division of Weldit Metalworks Inc., is looking for a dependable Skilled Construction Laborer to help build custom playground and themed concrete products in our indoor production facility. This is not a typical assembly-line production job. Our work combines concrete, construction, fabrication, and specialized finishing techniques. We're looking for someone with a broad hands-on background who is comfortable using tools, working with construction materials, solving problems, and performing physically demanding work.

Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM-5:30

PM Hours:

Unlike conventional concrete construction or repetitive manufacturing, our projects vary in size, shape, and complexity. You'll work with concrete, reinforcement materials, metal lath, tools, and specialized application techniques to transform fabricated structures into finished products. No two projects are exactly alike , making this a great fit for someone who enjoys building, problem-solving, and learning new skills. Key Responsibilities Measure, mix, transport, and apply concrete using established procedures. Install metal lath, reinforcement, and other construction materials. Operate concrete mixers, drills, grinders, and other hand and power tools safely. Perform general construction, fabrication, assembly, and material-handling tasks. Follow measurements, drawings, work instructions, and project requirements. Complete assigned work while maintaining quality and production schedules. Maintain clean and organized work areas, tools, and equipment. Follow company safety procedures and safe work practices. Qualifications Hands-on experience in construction or a related skilled trade ; concrete experience is a plus. Experience with construction-related hand and power tools. Ability to accurately use basic measurements and follow drawings or work instructions. Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn new tools, materials, and processes. Ability to work independently after training and contribute effectively as part of a team. Dependable attendance and reliable transportation. Valid driver's license. Physical Requirements This is a physically demanding, hands-on position requiring the ability to: Frequently lift and carry 50-70 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 100 lbs. Stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, climb, and reach throughout the workday. Perform repetitive lifting, material handling, and manual construction tasks. Work safely around concrete, power tools, dust, noise, and typical construction/fabrication shop conditions.
