Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dependable Concrete Worker to join our construction team. This role involves performing a variety of concrete-related tasks on commercial and residential projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in concrete finishing, formwork, and related construction activities, with the ability to operate various tools and equipment. This position offers opportunities for growth within the construction industry and requires a strong work ethic and attention to detail. Responsibilities Prepare and set forms for pouring concrete, including framing and layout based on blueprints or schematics Operate concrete mixers, pumps, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently Pour, spread, level, and finish concrete surfaces using hand tools and power tools Install rebar, metal studs, or other reinforcement materials as specified in project plans Perform masonry tasks such as stucco, plastering, or tile laying when required Assist with demolition, renovation, or restoration projects involving concrete structures Read blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate placement and dimensions of concrete elements Maintain a clean work environment by removing debris and ensuring safety protocols are followed during all operations Heavy lifting of materials and equipment as needed to support project requirements Experience Prior experience working on construction sites with concrete-related tasks is highly preferred Knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, and schematics beneficial Hands-on experience with rebar installation, formwork, finishing techniques, and use of hand tools or power tools Familiarity with heavy equipment operation such as concrete pumps or mixers is advantageous Experience in masonry, carpentry (including trim carpentry), roofing, or metal stud framing is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of safety standards related to construction sites and concrete work This position requires physical stamina, mechanical knowledge related to construction tools and equipment, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to quality craftsmanship and safety compliance.
