As a key player in ensuring high-quality concrete finishes, you'll be instrumental in delivering projects that stand the test of time. Duties Prepare concrete surfaces by smoothing, leveling, and finishing freshly poured concrete using hand tools and power tools. Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to execute precise concrete finishing tasks. Operate concrete mixers, pumps, cutting tools, and other heavy machinery safely and effectively on-site. Install rebar and formwork according to specifications to shape concrete structures accurately. Perform concrete pouring, finishing, sealing, caulking, and surface treatments to achieve desired textures and appearances. Collaborate with carpenters, masons, and other trades to ensure seamless integration of concrete elements within overall construction plans. Follow all safety protocols and construction workplace safety regulations diligently to maintain a secure environment for everyone. Requirements Proven experience working on construction projects with a focus on concrete finishing or related trades such as masonry or carpentry. Strong mechanical knowledge of tools, equipment, and machinery used in concrete work including power tools and heavy lifting techniques. Ability to read blueprints, interpret technical drawings, and understand construction plans thoroughly. Knowledge of concrete forming, cutting, pouring, rebar installation, and formwork construction processes. Familiarity with construction estimating principles and safety regulations applicable to construction sites. Skilled in working with various materials such as stucco, plastering compounds, metal studs for framing, and masonry components.
