Fast growing concrete and masonry company is seeking a residential estimator. We are seeking someone who is reliable with experience in the field, limited training will be provided. This is a key role within our operations team responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates: Estimator will: Prepare detailed cost estimates and bids for residential construction projects, with an emphasis on concrete and masonry scopes. Interpret drawings, specifications, geotechnical reports, and construction documents to develop accurate takeoffs and pricing Collaborate with field superintendents, and owners to ensure timely delivery and successful execution of project quotes Support procurement by soliciting and analyzing subcontractor and supplier quotes Coordinate preconstruction submittals and documentation Develop and maintain positive client and vendor relationships throughout project execution

Required Skills & Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in estimating or project management Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required Deep understanding of concrete construction practices related to civil infrastructure Ability to read and interpret civil plans, details, and specifications Familiarity with construction methods, materials, production rates Strong math and analytical skills; ability to compute areas, volumes, and production durations with precision Knowledge of applicable safety regulations and best practices for construction environments Strong written and verbal communication skills Must be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
