Job Description

Job 1: Concrete Finisher
  • Place, pour, spread, level, and finish concrete for foundations, slabs, sidewalks, curbs, and other flatwork using screeds, trowels, floats, edgers, jointers, and power finishing equipment while ensuring a high-quality finish.
  • Set and align concrete forms, apply textures and surface treatments, cut control and expansion joints, cure concrete properly, and maintain required thickness, slope, and surface integrity according to project specifications and blueprints.
  • Inspect and prepare work areas, coordinate concrete placement with truck drivers, operate concrete vibrators and other finishing equipment safely, and maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
  • Follow all safety procedures while working in a physically demanding outdoor environment, lift up to 75 lbs, and support additional construction tasks as assigned to meet project deadlines.
  • Bring 2+ years of concrete finishing experience (preferred), strong knowledge of concrete materials and techniques, reliable attendance, a valid driver's license (preferred), and flexibility to work overtime, weekends, evenings, and travel overnight as needed. Job 2: Infrared Operator
  • Prepare pavement areas for infrared asphalt repairs by operating and assisting with infrared heaters, removing damaged asphalt, applying hot mix asphalt, and raking, luting, and tamping patches to achieve a smooth, seamless finish.
  • Operate compactors and rollers to ensure proper compaction, maintain tools, equipment, and work areas, and assist with traffic control setup and teardown while following all safety procedures and wearing required PPE.
  • Support the Infrared Crew Foreman or Supervisor with daily operations and perform additional labor duties as needed to complete paving and repair projects efficiently.
  • Previous asphalt or paving experience is preferred but not required; candidates must be at least 18 years old, physically able to lift 50-75 lbs, work outdoors in varying weather conditions, and be willing to learn infrared pavement repair techniques.
  • Candidates should be dependable, punctual, able to follow instructions, have basic knowledge of hand tools and construction equipment, possess a valid driver's license (CDL preferred), and be willing to work overtime, weekends, evenings, and travel overnight when required. Job 3: Paving Equipment Operator
  • Safely operate paving and heavy equipment including mini excavators, asphalt pavers, skid steers, forklifts, rollers, and compactors while supporting asphalt paving, grading, compaction, and road construction projects.
  • Perform daily equipment inspections, basic maintenance, safe loading and unloading, follow grade specifications, control material application, and work with the paving crew to ensure quality, smooth finishes, and compliance with safety and traffic control procedures.
  • Assist with hand labor when equipment is not in use, communicate effectively with crew members and foremen, and perform additional duties as assigned to support project completion.
  • Candidates should have 2+ years of paving or heavy equipment operation experience (preferred), knowledge of equipment maintenance and safety protocols, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a physically demanding outdoor environment.
  • Must be at least 18 years old, reliable with a strong work ethic, able to pass a drug test, possess a CDL (preferred but not required), and be willing to work overtime, weekends, evenings, and travel overnight as project needs require.
Pay:
$25.00 - $45.00 per hour
