In this vital role, you will be responsible for transforming raw concrete into smooth, durable surfaces that meet precise specifications. Your expertise will contribute to a variety of construction projects, including commercial, residential, and renovation sites. Duties Finish concrete surfaces by smoothing, leveling, and shaping freshly poured concrete using hand tools and power tools such as trowels, floats, and screeds Interpret blueprints and construction plans to ensure concrete work aligns with project specifications and technical drawings Install formwork and rebar reinforcement accurately to support proper concrete placement and structural integrity Operate concrete mixers, pumps, and cutting tools efficiently to facilitate pouring and finishing processes Perform concrete pouring, finishing, sealing, caulking, stucco application, and drywall installation as required for various projects Maintain safety protocols by adhering to construction workplace safety regulations during all phases of work Assist with heavy lifting tasks and coordinate with team members to ensure smooth workflow on construction sites Requirements Proven experience working on construction projects with a focus on concrete finishing and related tasks Strong mechanical knowledge of hand tools, power tools, rebar installation, formwork construction, and concrete cutting techniques Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans accurately Knowledge of construction estimating practices is a plus for understanding project scope and materials needed Familiarity with heavy lifting equipment such as concrete mixers and pumps is desirable Understanding of construction workplace safety regulations to maintain a secure working environment Prior experience in carpentry, plastering, renovation work, drywall installation, or stucco application is advantageous Physical stamina for standing long hours, lifting heavy materials safely, and performing repetitive tasks efficiently Join our team as a Concrete Finisher where your skills will help build lasting structures while advancing your career in the vibrant world of construction.
