Full-TimePosition OverviewPeople Source OKC is hiring an experienced Concrete Superintendent for a commercial concrete company in Oklahoma City. This is a leadership position for someone with a strong background in commercial concrete construction who has experience running an entire jobsite from start to finish.
We are looking for a Superintendent who understands concrete construction, can read and interpret plans, understands elevations and anchor bolt layouts, and can effectively manage crews, schedules, materials, and day-to-day field operations.
Job ResponsibilitiesOversee and manage commercial concrete projects from start through completionRun daily jobsite operations and coordinate field crewsRead and interpret construction plans, blueprints, specifications, and detailsUnderstand and verify elevations, grades, layouts, and measurementsReview and coordinate anchor bolt layouts and placementOversee concrete forming, reinforcing, placement, finishing, and related field activitiesPlan daily manpower, equipment, materials, and production needsCoordinate concrete pours and ensure crews are prepared for scheduled workMonitor project schedules and ensure work remains on trackCoordinate with Project Managers, subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and other tradesVerify that work is completed according to plans and project specificationsIdentify and resolve field issues before they impact production or schedulingMonitor workmanship, quality, and productivityMaintain an organized and safe jobsiteEnforce company and jobsite safety requirementsProvide leadership and direction to foremen and field employeesRequirementsPrevious commercial concrete Superintendent experience requiredStrong hands-on background in concrete construction requiredMust have experience independently running commercial construction jobsitesStrong ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprintsMust understand elevations, grades, layouts, and benchmarksKnowledge of anchor bolt layout and placementStrong understanding of concrete forming, reinforcing, pouring, and finishing processesExperience coordinating crews, manpower, materials, and equipmentAbility to plan ahead and maintain project schedulesStrong leadership and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to communicate effectively with Project Managers, field crews, subcontractors, and other tradesStrong attention to detail and understanding of construction quality standardsDependable attendance and ability to work hours required by project schedulesHow to ApplyGive People Source OKC a call with any questions or stop by our office in person to learn more about this opportunity.
