Full Job Description About This Position:

As a Concrete Finisher/Laborer for Southstone Construction, LLC, you will be involved in multiple commercial construction projects. The average work week is Monday - Friday, 07:00am-3:30pm, although certain projects may require overtime or a variable schedule. As a concrete finisher/laborer, you may be tasked with the following: The Concrete Finisher/Laborer's primary responsibilities include but not limited to place, bull float, broom, edge, screed board, trowel, finish floor troweling level, and finish concrete surfaces with precision.

Responsibilities:

Compacting materials using power vibrators to create leveled bases Operate skid steer and mini excavator Installing anchor bolts, steel plates and other fixtures in freshly poured concrete Wear proper PPE while on the job site and in the yard: Safety toed work boots, safety vest, work gloves, safety glasses and hard hat Must know how to run walk-behind and operate ride-on trowel machines Tie rebar, placing, screeding, finishing, saw cutting and curing Work with hand and power tools to achieve top-quality finishes Assist crew with various duties such as shoveling, raking, and running wheelbarrow
