Allentown, PA Job Details Full-time $20 - $30 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Paid time off Qualifications Rebar installation Driver's License Attention to detail Construction experience Concrete pumping Full Job Description We are seeking experienced and motivated concrete laborers and finishers to join our team. Candidates should have previous experience in prepping, pouring, and finishing concrete. Must have valid driver's license Skills and knowledge: Knowledge of proper use of equipment, tools, materials, and supplies used in concrete construction work. Ability to manage several tasks at once and exercise independent judgment related to the daily administration of projects. Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely. Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
Expectations:
Ability to work as required. Be productive on job sites. If you have completed an assigned task, ask to be given another. If the superintendent is busy, use the time well by cleaning, organizing, etc. Accuracy taking measurements and calculating the size and amount of material needed for a project. Maintain a clean job site. Pick up all tools and equipment and secure the job site each day to eliminate potential hazards. Setting grade and installing rebar. Set and place forms to proper elevations and location. Prepare the base and install proper reinforcing. Spread, Level, and smooth concrete using rake, shovel, float, and hand/power trowel and/or screed. Smooth concrete surface using either a hand trowel, long-handled "bull float", powered float, and/or riding trowel machines. Be willing to help in all capacities to ensure the company is successful and runs smoothly with a pleasant work environment. Be well organized with attention to detail. Cut joints/grooves in concrete with edging tools to help control cracking, as well as the layout and saw cut joints with an early entry saw

$20.00 - $30.00 per hour
