Full Job Description Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Foreman specializing in Concrete and Masonry to lead construction crews on commercial projects. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all masonry and concrete work is executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. As a Foreman, you will coordinate daily operations, supervise team members, interpret technical drawings, and manage project schedules. Your leadership will drive project success from start to finish, fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, and excellence. Responsibilities Lead and supervise masonry and concrete crews on construction sites, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and within budget. Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide installation processes accurately. Coordinate with project managers to develop and maintain construction schedules using Primavera P6 or other construction management software. Oversee quality control measures, ensuring adherence to construction regulations and safety standards such as OSHA and federal safety regulations. Manage procurement of materials, review contracts, and oversee subcontractor activities related to concrete and masonry work. Conduct regular safety meetings, enforce safety protocols including OSHA compliance, and maintain a safe working environment for all team members. Review construction drawings for accuracy, interpret technical specifications, and ensure proper implementation on-site. Supervise team performance, provide training on construction safety management, crew management, and technical procedures. Maintain detailed project documentation including daily reports, time sheets, incident logs, and inspection records using construction management software like Bluebeam or ProCore. Collaborate with management on project scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation to optimize workflow across multiple projects. Skills Extensive experience in heavy civil or commercial construction environments with a focus on concrete and masonry projects. Proven ability to manage teams effectively in a fast-paced construction setting; excellent supervisory skills required. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings related to concrete/masonry work. Proficiency with construction management software such as Bluebeam Revu, ProCore or HeavyBid for scheduling and project tracking. Familiarity with OSHA standards and federal construction safety regulations; ability to enforce safety protocols diligently. Some skill in construction estimating, budgeting, Construction schedule coordination. Excellent communication skills for managing crews effectively while liaising with project stakeholders; managerial communication experience preferred. Knowledge of construction regulations governing commercial projects; experience supervising large crews on complex projects is highly desirable. Strong organizational skills for managing multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality control.
