Job Description

Overview:
The Field Service Technician (FST) serves the customer during equipment install by managing the installation process. The FST further provides product and service information and resolving service issues on an as needed basis for clients. The FST is responsible for promoting and providing company products or services across a variety of customer locations. The FST acts as a liaison between the organization and customers to increase brand loyalty and to ensure customer satisfaction. In addition, the FST must possess strong communication skills to resolve complex issues by simplifying information into a manageable solution for both company and customer.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical field support for company products by servicing sites and/or delivering or installing equipment. Resolve field maintenance and operational issues at customer locations or remotely. Perform troubleshooting procedures, diagnose cause, and correct equipment or service issue. Ensure company and industry regulations are followed, while adhering to customer and company safety protocols. Create effective technical service reports and develop strong partnerships with customers. Manage complex projects across different regions or states. Ability to direct skilled and unskilled labor for equipment install service and repairs. Works in-house as answering service calls and resolving issues as needed. Contributes to the team effort by supporting the business as directed.
Requirements:
Must work well under deadlines and have excellent problem-solving skills. Must have the ability to travel and work weekends. High school diploma or equivalent is needed for this position. Technical Degree preferred. 3-5 years experience in a technical or service-related role. Field experience and 75-80% travel required for maintenance and installation. Remaining time is spent in-house at the plant Must have valid drivers license and passport. Experience working on concrete equipment is preferred
Pay:
$70,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
