Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Concrete Foreman to lead and supervise concrete construction projects within the commercial sector. This role is pivotal in ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. As a key leader on-site, you will coordinate crews, manage resources, and uphold safety protocols while maintaining excellent communication with project managers and clients. Your expertise in concrete work, construction management software, and site supervision will drive project success from start to finish. Responsibilities Lead and supervise concrete installation crews, ensuring adherence to project plans, schematics, and safety standards. Coordinate daily operations on-site, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow management using tools like Primavera P6 and construction management software. Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to interpret project requirements accurately. Oversee quality control measures to ensure concrete work meets specifications and industry standards. Manage project documentation including contracts, change orders, daily reports, and safety records using software such as ProCore and Bluebeam. Collaborate with project managers on project scheduling, budgeting, and progress tracking to meet deadlines efficiently. Enforce OSHA safety regulations and conduct regular safety meetings to promote a safe working environment. Supervise subcontractors and vendors, ensuring compliance with contract terms and quality expectations. Conduct inspections using tools like ohmmeters for electrical components or other testing devices as needed for quality assurance. Maintain clear communication with clients, architects, engineers, and team members to facilitate smooth project execution. Skills Extensive experience in construction site supervision within commercial concrete projects. Proficiency in construction management software such as Primavera P6, Primavera (P6), HeavyBid, ProCore, Bluebeam, and other relevant tools. Strong knowledge of construction estimating, budgeting, contracts management, and project scheduling. Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating techniques. Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety protocols specific to heavy civil and concrete construction sites. Ability to supervise teams effectively while fostering a collaborative work environment. Experience with pipeline projects or heavy civil infrastructure is a plus. Technical skills including use of ohmmeters for electrical testing or similar diagnostic tools for quality control purposes. Excellent management skills with a proven track record of supervising multiple crews on large-scale projects.
