Solid Concrete LLC is a leading provider of commercial concrete services in the Greater Austin area. Our expertise includes earthwork, architectural concrete, and structural foundation systems, supported by a wide range of complementary services. We are seeking an experienced Concrete Superintendent to oversee field operations and lead projects from start to finish. This role is responsible for ensuring work is executed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with project specifications, schedules, and budgets. The Superintendent will coordinate closely with General Contractors, manage field personnel, and uphold company standards throughout all phases of construction. Key Responsibilities Oversee the successful execution of assigned projects, providing onsite leadership and supervision for all field personnel and subcontractors. Ensure all work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction. Implement, enforce, and promote company and regulatory safety requirements. Organize, schedule, and direct field labor; allocate manpower, equipment, and resources to meet project demands. Accurately track and report material quantities, labor usage, and equipment needs. Monitor and document daily and weekly project progress. Continuously evaluate productivity and percent completion; identify potential delays and proactively implement corrective solutions. Support office staff by providing accurate field information as needed. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to maintain quality, service, and timely communication. Requirements Extensive experience in concrete construction, including footings, walls, flatwork, tilt-up, and paving. Strong understanding of concrete scheduling and how concrete operations integrate with other trades. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, with advanced knowledge of surveying, grading, and site layout. Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with management, field crews, vendors, and suppliers. Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Excel, and construction management software preferred; PlanSwift experience is a plus. Mechanical aptitude and experience with concrete estimating are beneficial. Conversational Spanish skills sufficient to communicate with field labor.
Pay:
$90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
