Job Description

Concrete Superintendent Trinity CSG is seeking an experienced Concrete Superintendent to oversee and manage concrete construction projects throughout West Texas and the surrounding region. This position will be responsible for leading field operations, managing crews, coordinating with General Contractors and other trades, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to plans and specifications. We are looking for someone with extensive concrete construction experience who can take ownership of a project in the field from layout through completion. Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day concrete operations on assigned projects Read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and project documents Perform and/or oversee project layout, elevations, grades, and dimensions Plan and coordinate concrete pours, forming, reinforcing steel, embeds, finishing, and related activities Manage field crews, including manpower, daily assignments, productivity, and scheduling Coordinate equipment, materials, subcontractors, and deliveries needed to keep projects moving Serve as Trinity CSG's primary field contact with General Contractors, project managers, inspectors, and other trades Participate in on-site meetings and communicate project needs, schedules, conflicts, and changes Identify potential issues in the field and work proactively to develop solutions Ensure work is completed according to plans, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules Maintain a safe and organized jobsite and enforce company safety requirements Track daily progress, manpower, production, and project needs Maintain accountability for crew performance, workmanship, and productivity Be willing to travel to projects throughout West Texas, Eastern New Mexico, and the surrounding region as needed Qualifications 10+ years of concrete construction experience , with significant experience in a superintendent, foreman, or field leadership role Strong knowledge of commercial and civil concrete construction Ability to independently read and interpret plans, specifications, elevations, and details Strong understanding of project layout and concrete construction sequencing Proven ability to lead and manage multiple field crews Experience working directly with General Contractors and other project stakeholders Ability to plan ahead, solve problems, and keep projects on schedule Strong communication and leadership skills Working knowledge of jobsite safety requirements and best practices Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Willingness and ability to travel within the region as projects require Preferred Experience Experience with concrete scopes including: Foundations and footings Slabs-on-grade Paving and flatwork Curbs, gutters, and sidewalks Equipment pads and structural concrete Commercial and civil site construction What We're Looking For Trinity CSG is looking for a hands-on field leader who takes ownership of the job. The right candidate should be able to look ahead, organize crews and resources, communicate effectively with the General Contractor, solve problems in the field, and make sure the job gets done safely, correctly, and on schedule.
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
