Duties Prepare and set up formwork using carpentry skills to shape concrete structures according to blueprints and technical drawings. Operate concrete mixers, pumps, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently to pour, cut, and finish concrete surfaces. Install rebar reinforcement following blueprint specifications to ensure structural integrity. Interpret construction plans and technical drawings accurately to execute concrete pouring, finishing, and surface treatments like stucco or plastering. Perform heavy lifting and manual labor required for site preparation, rebar installation, formwork construction, and concrete placement. Adhere strictly to construction workplace safety regulations, including proper use of hand tools, personal protective equipment (PPE), and safety protocols during all phases of work. Assist with renovation projects and the installation of flooring or metal stud framing as needed to support overall project goals. Qualifications Proven experience working on construction sites with a focus on concrete work or related trades such as carpentry or masonry. Strong mechanical knowledge of tools, equipment operation (including heavy machinery), and construction materials. Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans with confidence. Knowledge of concrete forming, pouring techniques, finishing methods, and concrete cutting processes. Familiarity with construction estimating processes and understanding of safety regulations is highly desirable. Physical stamina for heavy lifting, prolonged standing, bending, and working in various weather conditions.
