We are a family-owned civil contractor running dirt and concrete crews. This is local work. You are home every night. We are looking for laborers, form setters, and finishers. Tell us which one you are and we will put you where you fit. PAY $14.40 to $23.00 an hour, based on what you can do and what you can prove. Overtime at time-and-a-half over 40 hours in a week. Green hands start at the bottom and move up as they earn it. If you can set forms off grade stakes or finish a slab on your own, you start higher.
THE SPOTS WE ARE FILLING
Concrete Laborer. Places and screeds, moves material, keeps the crew going. No experience required. We will train you. Form Setter. Sets and strips forms off grade stakes. Concrete Finisher. Floats, edges, and finishes flatwork. Senior finishers run the trowel and finish a slab on their own.WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Setting and stripping forms, placing and screeding concrete, finishing flatwork. Running hand tools, saws, vibrators, and power trowels. Loading and unloading material. Working outdoors in all weather.WHAT IT TAKES
Show up on time, every day, ready to work. Able to lift 50 lbs or more and stay on your feet all day. Reliable transportation to the yard or the jobsite. Valid driver's license is a plus. Concrete experience is a plus but not required for the laborer spot.WHAT WE PROVIDE
Tools and PPE. On-the-job training. Steady local work with a company that keeps its crews busy. Full time. Hours vary with the job and the weather. If you are a hand who shows up and works, apply and we will call you.Pay:
