Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Concrete Laborer and be a vital part of building durable, high-quality structures! In this energetic role, you will assist with all aspects of concrete work, from mixing and pouring to finishing and finishing touches. Your hands-on skills and attention to detail will help bring construction projects to life, ensuring safety, precision, and excellence at every stage. This position offers an engaging environment where your physical strength and technical knowledge are valued as you contribute to impactful projects. Duties Prepare and operate concrete mixers, pumps, and other power tools to ensure smooth and efficient concrete placement Assist with rebar installation, ensuring reinforcement is correctly positioned according to schematics and blueprints Set up forms using carpentry skills, including framing, trim carpentry, and metal stud framing for concrete molds Perform concrete finishing tasks such as smoothing, troweling, and sealing to achieve desired surface quality Read blueprints and schematics accurately to follow project specifications for concrete pouring and placement Use hand tools and heavy equipment safely for lifting, positioning forms, or moving materials around the site Support masonry, stucco, caulking, tile laying, flooring installation, and other related renovation or restoration activities as needed Requirements Proven construction site experience with a focus on concrete work or related trades such as masonry or carpentry Mechanical knowledge of tools, power equipment, and heavy machinery operation including cranes or forklifts Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the workday Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings relevant to concrete projects Knowledge of safety protocols on construction sites including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred for transporting materials or equipment when necessary This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop their skills in construction while contributing to impactful infrastructure projects.
