Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age or older Previous kitchen, prep cook, or food service experience preferred but not required Valid Food Handler's Certification Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require
Qualifications:
Demonstrates professionalism, accountability, and a strong work ethic Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality Ability to follow recipes, portion guidelines, and kitchen procedures consistently Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
Responsibilities:
Prepare fresh ingredients, proteins, vegetables, sauces, dressings, and other menu items according to company recipes and prep standards Follow daily prep lists and complete assigned tasks accurately and efficiently Maintain food quality, portion control, and presentation standards Properly label, date, rotate, and store food products to maintain freshness and prevent waste Follow all food safety, sanitation, and temperature control procedures Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep stations, kitchen equipment, and storage areas Safely operate kitchen equipment including slicers, mixers, ovens, grills, fryers, and other food preparation tools Communicate supply needs, equipment issues, or product shortages to management promptly Assist with receiving, organizing, and stocking deliveries Complete opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house team members to support smooth restaurant operations
Pay:
$11.00 - $14.00 per hour
