Job Description
Company overview We are a construction company that primarily does work on dairy barns. Your day to day would entail meeting at the shop in the morning, riding in a work truck to the job site with your crew (paid for travel time) and completing the tasks for the day and returning back to the shop (paid for travel time). Our crews are responsible for setting up forms, tying rebar, pouring and removing forms. Our work is mostly flat work and walls under 4 feet. Our crews continue working year round! Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Concrete Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and a commitment to quality in construction projects. This role involves working on various construction sites, assisting with the installation and restoration of concrete structures, and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and safely. Responsibilities Assist in the preparation and pouring of concrete for various projects, including footings, alleyways, sidewalks, approaches and short walls. Perform tasks related to the installation of concrete forms and frameworks. Collaborate with team members to ensure that all construction activities comply with safety regulations. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition; report any mechanical issues promptly. Participate in site clean-up and organization to promote a safe working environment. Follow instructions from supervisors regarding project specifications and timelines. Experience Previous experience in construction or concrete labor preferred but not mandatory. Basic mechanical knowledge is beneficial for maintaining equipment used on-site. Experience in commercial driving may be advantageous for transporting materials as needed.
