Job Description

Overview We are looking for a skilled Landscape and Concrete Laborer with a strong background in heavy equipment operation . This role requires a professional who can transition seamlessly between manual labor and operating machinery to ensure projects are completed efficiently.

Full-time Pay:
19-23 per hour depending on experence
Must-Have Requirements Experience:
Minimum of 5 years in professional landscaping and concrete construction.
Equipment Proficiency:
Proven experience operating skid steers, mini-excavators, and plate compactors .
License:
Valid Driver's License with a clean record is required.
Physical Ability:
Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities Equipment Operation:
Grading, trenching, and hauling materials using skid steers and mini-excavators.
Concrete & Hardscape:
Setting forms, pouring/finishing concrete, and installing pavers or retaining walls.
Site Preparation:
Manual excavation, soil compaction, and site cleanup.
Maintenance:
Daily safety inspections and basic maintenance on trucks and equipment. Duties Operate equipment such as skid steers, and excavators to facilitate excavation, grading, and material placement Prepare sites through rebar installation, form setting, and layout reading based on blueprints and schematics Finish concrete using mixers, trowels, screeds, and other power tools to achieve smooth finishes on sidewalks, patios, or structural elements Install hardscape features including pavers, retaining walls, and stonework with precision and attention to detail Read blueprints accurately to ensure proper installation of concrete forms and structural components Perform demolition or restoration work as needed while adhering to safety protocols; handle heavy lifting safely for material placement or site cleanup Skills Knowledge of construction estimating processes for project planning and resource allocation Proficiency in using hand tools (hammers, chisels), power tools (drills, saws), and specialized equipment (concrete vibrators or pumps) Strong mechanical knowledge related to equipment maintenance and troubleshooting machinery Communication and follow site specific instructions Skilled in rebar installation, Concrete forming and concrete finishing Ability to operate heavy equipment safely while maintaining awareness of site conditions; commercial driving skills are a plus Physical stamina for heavy lifting and long hours outdoors; excellent teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with crew members This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dedicated construction team committed to excellence.
