Job Description

FR Construction is a construction company which specializes in the retail petroleum industry. We are looking for a superintendent/foreman familiar with general construction practices. The ideal candidate can independently read plans and blueprints, effectively manage crews and subcontractors, and communicate directly with inspectors, and vendors on active job sites. This is a working foreman position. You'll spend most of your time directing your crew while also actively working alongside them. Responsibilities Lead and supervise a field crew Read and interpret structural drawings, engineering plans, and scope documents Plan and sequence daily work based on plans and site conditions Assign responsibilities and manage jobsite workflow Coordinate materials, labor, tools, and equipment; pick up materials from suppliers as needed Identify and communicate field issues to Project Managers Typical Project Types Our projects range from full tear downs and rebuilds. Underground storage tanks removal and installation. Various repair projects at retail gas stations Required Qualifications
  • Read and interpret plans and blueprints
  • Operate Equipment (skid steers, excavators)
  • Shoot elevations
  • Set Forms
  • Finish Concrete
  • Pipe Fitting
  • Demonstrated ability to independently read and work from structural/engineering plans
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Ability to travel daily to job sites across Southern California
  • Effective English communication; legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of field construction work
  • Pay is negotiable based on experience
Pay:
$37.00 - $47.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 48.0 per week
