Solar Foreman Better Earth - 3.9 Cerritos, CA Job Details Full-time $30 - $35 an hour 1 hour ago Benefits Dental insurance Vision insurance Qualifications Customer communication Outdoor work experience Customer service Ladder use Driver's License Full Job Description Your responsibilities are to help lead your crew to assemble, install, and/or maintain/service solar photovoltaic (PV) systems on roofs or other structures in accordance with design plans. May include but are not limited to; measuring, cutting, attaching, and assembling structural framing (racking systems), solar modules and other necessary components to complete a solar installation. You will help ensure a safe and excellent install and customer experience overall by: Assemble all components of a residential solar system Structurally mount racking and electrical equipment and effectively seal all penetrations Maintain a clean worksite and safe working environment Properly use Personal Protective Equipment Occasional travel from time to time Attend mandatory training sessions regarding new products, installation methodology, and safety requirements. Other duties as may be assigned from time to time Requirements Previous solar installation
REQUIRED
Ability to lift, pull, and push equipment and materials to complete assigned job tasks Must be willing and able to climb ladders, stairs, work on rooftops, and able to work on your feet for long periods of time Ability to lift 50 pounds of weight frequently throughout assigned workday Great attention to detail Ability to work in extreme environments (example: hot sun, cold, rain, crawl spaces, etc.) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent customer service skills Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment
MUST BE AT LEAST 21 YEARS OF AGE
Must have a valid state driver's license Must have a clean driving record
Compensation:
$30-35/hr 90 day contract (with potential for full time hire after contract) Full-time hours Benefits Dental, vision, health
