Key Responsibilities Teach mathematics courses for Grades 6-12 based on student level and school needs. Develop and deliver clear, structured, and engaging math lessons. 12, and other math competition programs. Design or support math enrichment courses, competition training classes, afterschool programs, and tutoring sessions. Support students preparing for standardized tests, advanced math placement, or college-preparatory math pathways. Maintain accurate attendance, grade, and student progress records. Communicate professionally with students, parents, and school leadership. Follow all school policies regarding student safety, professional boundaries, confidentiality, and classroom conduct. Participate in academic planning, faculty meetings, enrichment program development, and school events as needed. Strong knowledge of Algebra, Geometry, Number Theory, Combinatorics, Probability, and advanced problem-solving strategies. Ability to teach both regular academic math and advanced enrichment/competition math. Teaching credential, private school teaching experience, or relevant teaching certification preferred. Strong classroom management, lesson planning, communication, and student support skills. Must be able to complete all required background checks, fingerprinting, TB clearance, mandated reporter training, and school onboarding requirements. Preferred Skills Demonstrated success helping students improve math competition performance. Ability to design AMC-focused curriculum, practice materials, and training plans. Experience working with high-achieving students and students needing foundational math support. Experience with small private school, enrichment center, tutoring center, or college-preparatory school settings. Ability to teach coding, STEM, robotics, or interdisciplinary math-related enrichment is a plus. Comfortable using online teaching tools, learning management systems, and digital math resources.
