Based in Rancho Cucamonga, SI Testing specializes in commercial electrical testing, maintenance, and engineering. We are seeking a Commercial Install & Troubleshooting Electrician who not only meets the technical requirements but truly embodies our team culture. We are looking for a professional who is:

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Technical Operations:
Perform and lead journey-level electrical trade functions, including installation, inspecting, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing circuit breakers. Conduct on-site work according to industry standards and execute specialized testing procedures.
Safety & Compliance:
Perform lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) procedures to isolate components and ensure a safe work environment. Strictly adhere to all national, local, and company safety policies, select and utilize appropriate PPE for arc flash environments, and maintain all required training certifications.
Estimation & Planning:
Oversee the proposal phase, as well as end-to-end preparation and planning phases for installation and troubleshooting operations, as well as special / complex projects, ensuring optimal resource allocation and project initiation.
Reporting:
Analyze, prepare, and deliver detailed technical reports while accurately logging all test results and equipment data into the database.
Client Relations:
Provide professional, solutions-oriented service to facility managers and site points-of-contact. Act as a technical resource to explain test results and recommend necessary repairs or system improvements.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Experience:
Minimum of 8 years of experience as a commercial Install and Troubleshoot Electrician and Supervisor.
Technical Proficiency:
Demonstrated capability in installing, maintaining, and repairing complex commercial electrical systems, including switchboards, transformers, motor controls, and distribution panels. Strong command of NFPA 70 (NEC) standards.
Certifications:
California Blue Card is required.
Strongly preferred:
Journeyman school training such as ABC school, and OSHA 30-hour construction safety training.
Safety Mindset:
Deep understanding of electrical safety, including
NFPA 70E
requirements and LOTO protocols.
Communication:
Strong interpersonal skills; ability to communicate complex technical findings to non-technical clients clearly.
Professionalism:
Ability to work independently at client sites while maintaining the high standards of the SI Testing company.

$40.00 - $49.00 per hour
