Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Electrical Foreman to join our team and take an active role in running commercial electrical projects throughout the Bay Area. Our work primarily consists of tenant improvements, warehouses, offices, and lab projects. This is a hands-on, working foreman position. The ideal candidate is someone who can effectively lead a crew while still working alongside them. Responsibilities include planning and laying out electrical work, reading and interpreting plans and specifications, coordinating with project managers, general contractors, and other trades, managing material needs, tracking job progress and labor, and making sure work is completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their projects, communicates well, keeps their crew productive, and can identify and solve problems in the field before they become larger issues. Approximately two years of previous electrical foreman experience is preferred. Responsibilities Lead and supervise electrical crews on commercial construction projects Work alongside the crew performing electrical installations as needed Plan, lay out, and coordinate daily electrical work to maintain productivity and project schedules Read and interpret electrical plans, specifications, details, and applicable project documents Coordinate work with Project Managers, General Contractors, other trades, and field personnel Assign tasks and provide clear direction to journeymen and apprentices Monitor job progress, manpower, and labor hours Plan ahead for upcoming work and identify potential scheduling or installation issues Determine material and equipment needs and coordinate material requests Ensure electrical installations are completed accurately and in accordance with plans, specifications, and applicable codes Maintain a safe, clean, and organized jobsite Enforce company and jobsite safety requirements Attend jobsite meetings and coordinate upcoming work as required Communicate field conditions, changes, delays, and potential issues to the Project Manager Coordinate inspections and assist with resolving corrections when necessary Maintain accurate daily reports and jobsite documentation Train, mentor, and provide direction to apprentices and less-experienced electricians Maintain quality workmanship while keeping the crew productive and the project on schedule Assist with project closeout, punch-list work, and completion of outstanding items Join our team as a Commercial Electrical Foreman and take an active role in delivering quality electrical projects throughout the Bay Area. Pay:
$50.00 - $60.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per week
