Santa Monica, CA Job Details Full-time $35 - $44 an hour 9 hours ago Qualifications Bilingual Spanish Dimensional inspection English Supervising experience Construction industry experience Residential building projects Residential carpentry Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Construction Foreman - Foundation & Framing to supervise residential construction projects throughout the Los Angeles area. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience in foundation, concrete, and wood framing , can read and understand construction plans, and is comfortable leading crews and coordinating day-to-day jobsite activities. This is a hands-on field position for someone who can keep projects organized, maintain quality standards, and ensure work is completed safely and according to plans. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate construction crews on residential projects. Oversee foundation, concrete, and wood framing work. Read and interpret blueprints, structural plans, and construction drawings. Layout and verify dimensions according to plans. Coordinate daily tasks and communicate expectations to crew members. Monitor workmanship and ensure work meets project plans and specifications. Coordinate materials, tools, equipment, and deliveries needed for the job. Track daily progress and communicate updates to the Project Manager. Identify field issues and communicate them before they cause delays. Maintain an organized and safe jobsite. Ensure crews follow applicable safety requirements. Coordinate with subcontractors and other trades when necessary. Assist with hands-on construction work when needed. Qualifications Previous experience as a Construction Foreman, Framing Foreman, Lead Carpenter, or similar supervisory role . Strong experience with residential foundation and wood framing . Concrete experience preferred. Ability to read and understand construction plans and structural drawings. Experience supervising and directing construction crews. Knowledge of construction methods, materials, tools, and jobsite safety. Ability to verify measurements, elevations, layouts, and dimensions. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Reliable transportation and ability to travel to different project locations throughout the Los Angeles area. Ability to work independently and take responsibility for daily field operations. Pay:
$35.00 - $44.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
