Electrical Foreman Job Summary We are looking for an Electrical Foreman to supervise and coordinate a team of electricians and ensure the successful completion of electrical projects. This position requires an eye for detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to lead and motivate a team to complete projects on time and within budget.
Electrical Foreman Duties and Responsibilities Lead Crews:
Direct and train electricians and apprentices on-site in safety and skills.
Manage Projects:
Follow project plans and timelines to complete work on schedule.
Ensure Safety:
Enforce OSHA and company standards, procedures, and safety rules.
Inspect Work:
Check project progress for quality and NEC compliance.
Report Progress:
Update Project Manager on labor, materials, and daily site conditions.
Handle Materials:
Order and track tools and supplies for the job. Troubleshoot electrical problems and diagnose issues. Ensure that all materials and equipment are available for projects. Monitor the work of electricians to ensure quality of work meets standards. Electrical Foreman Requirements and Qualifications Valid Colorado Journeyman or Master Electrician license. Valid Driver License with a clean driving record. 5+ years of experience in commercial and/or residential electrical field with proven experience in a leadership/supervisory role. Strong knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) and blueprint reading. Good computer skills required (Microsoft Office, Bluebeam). Able to plan, layout, and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, conduit, and panels. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Able to lift heavy items, climb ladders, stand for long period, and work in a fast-paced environment. Benefits Competitive hourly pay or salary based on experience.
