Quinn Landscape Contracting, LLC., a premiere landscape contracting firm, specializing in landscape maintenance, design and construction located in Glastonbury, CT, is seeking to fill a Landscape Construction Foreman position. The Landscape Construction Foreman will oversee a 1 - 3-person crews on multiple projects and be responsible for the site preparation for hardscape installations, while managing job hours, material and site logistics. The right individual will work as a team member, with the installation crews and others to accomplish the overall goal. . Position Requirements Excavation experience Site Grading and ability to comprehend elevations Base Prep knowledge and experience for preparing patios and walls Experience setting solid stone steps Drainage installation experience (Rain leaders/yard and patio drains) Installation of site utilities (electrical conduit, water, sewer/drainage pipe and structures) General Site work Concrete Flatwork Landscape Construction site preparations for Paver patios, walkways and walls, and outdoor kitchens and fire and water features Landscape planting bed preparation (topsoil) Experience running mini excavators and skid steers Ability to read site plans and interpret Experience with running a jobsite site in a safe and orderly manner Responsible for ordering materials and scheduling delivers in a timely manner Ability to use site equipment and tools - i.e., construction lasers and field tools Able to lift up to 75 pounds Valid Drivers LIC and clean driving record.
